For those who truly love music, choosing a pair of earbuds can be a lengthy process until you find something that delivers sound to a high standard.
However, some people simply want a pair of earbuds to connect to a PC or smartphone for video calls or specific audio and multimedia moments, where quality matters less and other factors — such as price — take centre stage.
If you are looking for affordable earbuds that still offer enough quality for everyday use, the Lenovo E310 could be a very interesting choice. Here is our review and verdict.

We tested the Lenovo E310 – Good earbuds for those who want something decent without spending much
Not every pair of wireless earbuds needs to cost a lot to do the essentials. For everyday listening, taking calls, or heading to the gym, a simple, lightweight model with all-day battery life is often all you need.
That is the proposition of the Lenovo E310 — a pair of true wireless earbuds with a discreet design, Bluetooth 5.3 for a stable and energy-efficient connection. The 13 mm drivers promise a fuller sound, and the dual microphones with noise cancellation help during calls.

In terms of battery life, they last around 5 hours of music playback, reaching up to 20 hours with the charging case, which charges via USB-C. The full set weighs 33.6 g.
Read on for our experience with the Lenovo E310, which are available for €29.99.
Design and build quality
The Lenovo E310 are a simple and affordable option that does not compromise on quality.
While you can tell by the feel that these are budget earbuds, they are sturdy, with a plastic build, and available in white and black.
Design-wise, there is nothing groundbreaking here — they take clear inspiration from Apple’s AirPods, making the form factor instantly familiar and approachable.
They follow the traditional earbud format, sitting in the ear without going in-ear.
The earbud rests in the ear without being overly intrusive and features dual microphones for better sound capture.

The case is all white, with a small LED on the front and a USB-C port on the bottom for charging.

Comfort of use
The Lenovo E310 fit well in the ear and are comfortable, even during longer listening sessions.
They can be used in the office or for desk-based work, but also hold up for sport — they stay put in the ear and show no tendency to fall out, even with more vigorous movement.

Touch controls
The controls on the Lenovo E310 follow the standard for this type of device.
Each earbud has a touch-sensitive surface on the back for hands-free control without reaching for the smartphone.
A single tap does nothing, but a double tap pauses the music or answers a call.
During a call, a long double tap ends the call. During music playback, a long double tap on the left earbud goes to the previous track and on the right moves to the next.
Unfortunately, these earbuds do not support auto-pause when one earbud is removed — you always need to use the double tap or your smartphone.

Lenovo Accessories and Display Manager
While there is no app to personalise the use of these earbuds, on PC you can install Lenovo Accessories and Display Manager — a small application available from the Microsoft Store that lets you monitor battery status and update the earbuds’ firmware.
It is not particularly useful since there are no further settings to customise, but it at least lets you keep tabs on new firmware versions.
Sound quality and calls
Given that these earbuds cost around €30, top-tier sound is not to be expected.
That said, the Lenovo E310 do surprise for the price. Bass is almost non-existent, but the mids and highs deliver a reasonable performance that is sufficient for calls or basic multimedia use.
It is a shame there is no official way to tune the sound without third-party apps — an equaliser would make a noticeable difference to the audio reproduction.

On the microphone side, the dual mics are sensitive and deliver good call quality.
Noise cancellation during calls is present, though it only cuts out the most basic background sounds and is not particularly advanced.
During use, I never experienced any dropouts or connection issues.

Battery life
The Lenovo E310 offer around four and a half hours of battery life, rising to between 15 and 20 hours when factoring in the case battery.
A full charge takes around 2 hours.
Who are the Lenovo E310 for?
The Lenovo E310 are aimed at those who want affordable wireless earbuds for everyday use without demanding too much from sound quality. They are a good option for video calls on a PC or smartphone, listening to podcasts, watching videos, and background music, and for anyone who needs a second pair for the office or for sport — they fit securely and stay put.
They also make sense as a first pair of true wireless earbuds, or as a gift, at a price of €29.99.
They are not the best choice for those who care about sound quality and appreciate bass, for those who want active noise cancellation, or for anyone who wants to fine-tune the sound with an equaliser or a companion app on their phone. Those who expect music to pause automatically when an earbud is removed will not find that feature here either.

Verdict
The Lenovo E310 do what is needed for what they cost. The form factor is familiar, the fit is comfortable and secure even during sport, and the Bluetooth 5.3 connection never dropped during testing. The dual microphones deliver good call quality, with basic but sufficient noise cancellation.
Sound performance is reasonable for the price: bass is almost non-existent, but the mids and highs are adequate for calls, videos, and basic multimedia. What is missing is an official way to adjust the sound — there is no smartphone app, only a PC application that shows the battery level and allows firmware updates.

Battery life sits at around four and a half hours, with the case extending the total to around 20 hours, and a full charge takes around 2 hours.
At €29.99, they are an interesting choice for those who want something functional without spending much — as long as sound expectations are kept in line with the price.
