Design and build quality
The ALLPOWERS R1500 LITE is a portable power station that stands out for its good build quality and clean design.
The body is built from rigid, quality plastic, with the main sockets protected by rubber covers.
On the front we find most of the interfaces, led by a central display that communicates all the status information and real-time power readings.
Beyond the remaining battery level, the panel shows input and output power (so you can see how much is charging and being consumed), the estimated runtime at the current load, and icons for various states such as AC or DC active, Bluetooth connection, and so on.
To the left of the display there are two USB-A ports alongside two USB-C ports.
To the right is the car cigarette lighter connector.
Finally, at the base we find the 4 Schuko sockets for connecting equipment.
In the middle row there are also 3 buttons — one to switch the unit on and off, one to activate the AC sockets, and another to activate the DC outputs and, with a long press, Bluetooth.
On the left side there is an air vent and a click-clack flap concealing the AC charging connector, the solar charging connector, and a master cutoff button.
On the right side there is only an air vent to cool the battery during operation.
In terms of weight, this unit comes in at 15 kg — slightly above some similar competitors, but explained by the large battery it houses. Although heavy, two handles on either side make it manageable to carry.

ALLPOWERS app
The ALLPOWERS R1500 LITE can be controlled via the ALLPOWERS app, available for Android and iOS.
Although simple, it provides remote control via either Bluetooth or Wi-Fi.
After installing the app, enable Bluetooth on your smartphone and start the pairing process with the unit. This can be done via either Bluetooth or Wi-Fi, and both methods can be used interchangeably.
Bluetooth is used for control when the unit is nearby, while Wi-Fi allows status monitoring when you are away from home.
The ALLPOWERS app is fairly basic but covers what is necessary. You can view the current battery status, monitor real-time input and output power, activate and deactivate the AC and DC outputs remotely, and switch between 50 and 60 Hz.
You can also choose between 3 operating modes (silent, standard, or fast), set how long the unit stays on standby before switching off to save power, or activate ECO mode.
Unfortunately, this app is not available in Portuguese.
Charging methods
The ALLPOWERS R1500 LITE can be charged in 4 different ways: via an AC connector, solar panel, car cigarette lighter socket, or generator.
Connecting to a wall socket is the fastest method, making use of the 1200W maximum input to charge 80% of the battery in 45 minutes and reach full capacity in just over an hour.
With solar, charging speed depends on the panel being used. In our review we had the SE100, a panel that peaks at around 75W in real-world conditions, allowing a full charge in approximately 14 hours.
This figure improves considerably with a more powerful panel, such as the SP039 at 600W, which allows a full charge in under 2 hours at maximum constant output.
Solar and AC charging can also be combined to replenish the battery more quickly.
Different outputs for different needs
The ALLPOWERS R1500 LITE has a set of outputs that covers virtually any power need, from household appliances to mobile devices and camping equipment.
The four 220/240V pure sine wave AC sockets allow conventional appliances to be connected without risk of damage to sensitive equipment. The maximum output power of 1600W applies across one or all sockets simultaneously, with the unit managing loads of up to around 1500W well. Getting close to 1600W may trigger the safety mode.
For higher loads there is a 3200W peak, although the protection kicks in after approximately three seconds when the load exceeds 2400W.
What equipment can the ALLPOWERS R1500 LITE power?
The ALLPOWERS R1500 LITE can power any device drawing up to 1600W (or slightly below that), and can even reach 3200W in peak demand moments.
We tested this unit with several pieces of equipment to understand its performance with each.
In the garden, our lawn edger draws around 500W, resulting in a runtime of roughly 1.5 hours.
With a food processor, the turbo grinding mode reaches around 400W, pushing the runtime to close to 2 hours. At maximum cooking power, consumption rises to around 1000W, limiting runtime to around 1 hour.
The coffee machine operates in peaks, reaching close to 1200W briefly during brewing. However, the average draw over a full cycle is much lower.
A 55-inch living room television draws around 55W, giving it a runtime of approximately 15 hours.
The internet router did not register on the consumption indicator, but knowing it draws around 12W, the estimated runtime works out to over 62 hours.
The fridge, drawing between 60W and 120W depending on the compressor cycle, gives a runtime of between 6 and 12.5 hours.
We also connected an outdoor fan which, drawing 21W, can run for around 35 hours.
For equipment drawing close to this unit’s maximum output — at around 1500W, for example — the expected runtime is approximately 30 minutes.

It is not only for camping enthusiasts or weekend adventurers — although it is an excellent companion for those situations. For campers, festival-goers, or campervan travellers, the R1500 LITE resolves the electricity problem definitively. With 1056 Wh of capacity, it can power a television for 15 hours, run a small fridge for several hours, charge smartphones and laptops, and still have energy in reserve. For those working outdoors, on a building site, or in remote locations without grid access, the four 1600W Schuko sockets allow tools and professional equipment to be powered with the same reliability as a conventional wall socket, with the advantage of being portable and rechargeable by solar energy.
The R1500 LITE makes less sense for those who need to run equipment drawing more than 1600W continuously, or for anyone looking for an ultra-compact solution to carry in a backpack. The 15 kg are perfectly manageable thanks to the side handles, but it is not a product to carry on your back.

The ALLPOWERS R1500 LITE is a portable power station that offers a genuinely good balance between capacity, power, and price. At €469, it delivers specifications that until recently were reserved for significantly more expensive products.
Build quality is a pleasant surprise for the price segment. The rigid plastic conveys solidity, the rubber covers on the sockets are a detail that is appreciated, and the front display with all status and real-time consumption information is genuinely useful in day-to-day use.
The two side handles make carrying the 15 kg comfortable, though the weight is the main friction point for those who need to move it frequently.
Performance in our tests was consistent with what the brand advertises. The 1056 Wh capacity confirmed itself in practice across all the equipment tested, from the 55-inch television with 15 hours of runtime to the router with over 60 hours.
