The successor to the Xiaomi Mix Fold 4 is starting to take shape. Leaker Digital Chat Station shared new details about Xiaomi’s next foldable on Weibo, after the device was recently identified in the Mi Code database.
The model, which is expected to be called the Mix Fold 5 or Xiaomi 17 Fold, points to an ambitious proposition both in specifications and in price.
According to the leak, the Mix Fold 5 will have a flexible display between 7.5 and 7.6 inches with practically invisible crease technology — one of the most anticipated features in this segment, and one where the competition has yet to find a fully satisfactory solution.

In terms of camera, the device is expected to feature a 200MP main sensor, along with full water resistance and a side-mounted fingerprint reader. The battery is reported to be approximately 6000mAh with support for wireless charging.
The processor is expected to be the Xring chip developed in-house by Xiaomi, reinforcing the brand’s growing commitment to developing its own technology, something the company has been consolidating in its recent launches.
As for the price, the leak suggests a price in China of around 10,000 yuan, the equivalent of approximately €1,274. It is a clearly premium positioning that places the Mix Fold 5 in direct competition with the top foldables from Samsung and Huawei. International availability remains to be confirmed.
