Foldable devices are well represented in OPPO‘s expansion strategy.
Although the OPPO Find N6 is an interesting entry in the world of book-style foldables, the Chinese brand decided not to bring this model to Portugal.
We still had the opportunity to get to know this smartphone properly, and we share our opinion and review of it here.

We tested the OPPO Find N6 – A well-executed foldable with a stylus as a bonus
Book-style foldables have evolved quickly, but they keep running into the same obstacles: the crease, the thickness, and durability. With the Find N6, OPPO tries to address all three at once and presents it as a foldable with an almost invisible crease.
Closed, the Find N6 is just 8.93 mm thick and weighs 225 g — figures that put it close to a conventional smartphone. Open, it measures 4.21 mm.
OPPO credits the flat display to its second-generation titanium hinge and a flexible glass that, according to the brand, softens the crease with use. For those concerned about durability, it carries IP56, IP58, and IP59 certifications against water and dust — something uncommon in this category.
Inside, an 8.12-inch inner AMOLED display is paired with a 6.62-inch outer display, both with a 1–120 Hz adaptive refresh rate.

The chip is the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5, paired with 16 GB of RAM and 512 GB of storage. The battery is 6,000 mAh, with 80 W wired and 50 W wireless charging.
Photography is handled by a Hasselblad-tuned system, with a 200 MP main camera, a 50 MP ultra-wide, and a 50 MP periscope telephoto. OPPO also bets on AI as a productivity tool, with the OPPO AI Pen and the AI Mind Space, accessible via a dedicated key.

Design and build quality
The OPPO Find N6 follows the line we have come to expect from OPPO.
It is a robust smartphone with excellent build quality and premium materials that are immediately apparent to the touch.
Alongside a metal chassis, great care has been taken with the hinge — both in terms of materials and water and dust resistance — to make this a durable and reliable device.
Visually, the OPPO Find N6 presents a front where the display fills most of the frame, with the left side featuring a straighter cut to accommodate the hinge.

On the back we find a circular camera module, positioned centrally, housing three cameras. The flash sits outside this module.

On the right side are the volume buttons, power button, and a customisable action key.

The left side houses only the hinge.

When opened, the inner display fills the entire frame, with only a small punch-hole in the top-right corner for the front camera.
At the top you will find two microphones and a speaker. At the bottom there is a USB-C port, a microphone, a speaker, and the SIM card slot.

While not the thinnest foldable on the market, the OPPO Find N6 is slim and comfortable to hold.
However, as is common with this type of device, we felt the camera area is slightly heavier than the rest of the chassis, giving a sense that it is always slightly unbalanced.

Hinge and crease
One of the main areas of focus on the OPPO Find N6 was improving the hinge quality and reducing the visibility of the crease.
To achieve this, OPPO developed a liquid 3D-printed titanium hinge experience with flexible glass for an imperceptible crease and a smooth feel.

The result is a crease that is very well concealed — imperceptible during use, both visually and to the touch.
In day-to-day use it feels like using a tablet, with nothing making it obvious that the display folds.

Displays
The OPPO Find N6 features an 8.12-inch inner display and a 6.62-inch outer display.
Both displays deliver good quality, accurate colour reproduction, and sharp detail, though they serve different purposes.

The outer display is designed for everyday use and quick, immediate tasks. The inner display is the solution for those who want to browse the web with a wider view, work on documents, or consume media.
OPPO has equipped both displays with scratch and drop protection to improve resistance and durability.

In terms of brightness, the 3,600 nits on the outer display are more than enough for good visibility in sunlight, and we noticed no visual discomfort during extended use. The inner display reaches 2,500 nits.
The device comes with a stylus that enables interaction with the display with good sensitivity and functionality.
The stylus does not fit inside the phone itself — unlike Samsung’s Galaxy Ultra line — but the case has a magnetic slot that allows it to be stored and charged simultaneously.

ColorOS 16
ColorOS 16 is today a more mature and refined interface, designed to appeal to all types of users.
Although it still includes some bloatware — which can be uninstalled — it offers a wide range of launcher customisation options and theme changes that allow users to tailor the phone to their taste.

Given that this is a foldable, OPPO has prepared ColorOS with specific features for the format.

There is a split-screen mode that allows two apps to run side by side, and it is also possible to run an app in a floating pop-up window.

A quick-access bar is also available at the bottom of the screen, as well as a side bar.

ColorOS 16 also integrates a range of AI features. Alongside Gemini, there is AI Mind Space for gathering memories and describing ideas, AI transcription, text writing assistance, and photo editing.
The Snap Key is a dedicated button for quick shortcuts that can be customised to open AI Mind Space, the torch, specific apps, vibration mode, and more.

OPPO AI Pen
The OPPO Find N6 has the OPPO AI Pen case as an optional accessory — a stylus that raises the productivity of this smartphone.
The stylus is compact and comfortable, and delivers a good writing and drawing experience. It will not enable highly detailed drawings, but it is well suited to taking notes and making quick sketches.

With the OPPO AI Pen you can write directly on a screenshot, use it as a pointer when presenting, or take a photo and annotate directly over the captured image.
To store it, the dedicated case has a slot on the back. As it works via Bluetooth, it charges when placed in the base.

Is a foldable display worth it?
The big question for many people when buying a new smartphone is whether the extra money spent on a foldable is worth it.
The answer is, as expected, it depends. A book-style foldable makes sense for those who work extensively with documents and productivity tools.

The larger inner display is great for viewing and editing documents, taking notes, and browsing the web. However, if the aim is a bigger screen primarily for media or social media, then a wider-style foldable is a better fit.

Performance
The OPPO Find N6 is powered by a Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 processor that delivers flagship-level performance.
In everyday use we felt no limitations whatsoever — it handles all types of apps and games with ease.

The slim chassis does mean thermal management is somewhat more limited — some warming is noticeable during use, particularly under heavier workloads.
In benchmark tests, the OPPO Find N6 recorded the following scores:
- Geekbench 6
- Single-core: 3,751 points
- Multi-core: 7,098 points
- AnTuTu V10 – 2,741,789 points
Photography
In photography, the OPPO Find N6 does not quite reach the full potential of the brand’s flagship range, but it retains quality befitting a top-tier device.

Daytime shots are excellent, with good colour reproduction and detail.

In low-light conditions, the OPPO Find N6 also performs very well, maintaining good detail even with limited light.

Optical zoom reaches up to 3× and preserves a good level of detail. Maximum digital zoom is 120×.

Portrait mode delivers good background blur with clean subject separation.

Battery life and charging
The OPPO Find N6 houses a 6,000 mAh battery with enough capacity for more than a full day of use.
This figure depends on how the phone is used and whether the inner or outer display is used more, but you can always count on enough battery to get through a full day.
Charging can be done at 80 W wired or 50 W wirelessly, recovering a full charge in under an hour in both cases.

Who is the OPPO Find N6 for?
The OPPO Find N6 is aimed at those who want a book-style foldable focused on productivity — for viewing and editing documents, taking notes, and running multiple apps simultaneously on the inner display. The near-invisible crease and slim profile make it a strong choice for anyone worried that a foldable might be uncomfortable in daily use.
It is also a good option for those who value durability, thanks to its IP56, IP58, and IP59 certifications and the attention paid to the hinge, and for those who want a Hasselblad camera system in a foldable form factor. The OPPO AI Pen, sold as an optional accessory, adds value for those who like handwriting and quick sketching.

It is not the best choice for those who want a larger screen primarily for media and social media — a wider-style foldable makes more sense in that case.
It also falls behind the brand’s conventional flagships in photography, and those who need a phone that stays cool under heavy workloads should factor in the more limited thermal management of such a slim chassis.
Finally, as OPPO is not launching this model in Portugal, purchasing it requires importing or finding a retailer that carries imported stock.

Verdict
The OPPO Find N6 is a very well-executed foldable. The titanium hinge and flexible glass deliver exactly what they promise: the crease is virtually imperceptible both visually and to the touch, and in daily use it feels like using a tablet.
The build is robust and premium, and the device is comfortable to hold despite housing two displays.

Both displays deliver good quality, accurate colours, and plenty of brightness for outdoor use. ColorOS 16 is mature and well adapted to the foldable format, with split-screen, floating windows, and shortcut bars, and the AI features — AI Mind Space, transcription, and the Snap Key — are genuinely useful.

The OPPO AI Pen is an interesting bonus for notes and sketches, though it is not suited to highly detailed drawing.
Performance with the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 leaves nothing to be desired, but the slim chassis brings some thermal limitations — noticeable warming under heavier workloads. Photography is good in both day and night conditions, though it falls one step below the brand’s conventional flagships. The 6,000 mAh battery lasts more than a day and fast charging recovers a full charge in under an hour.
The main downside is availability: with no official launch in Portugal, the reference price of €1,869 means importing the phone. For those who can get hold of one, it is one of the best-executed book-style foldables available right now.
Techbit thanks OPPO for providing the OPPO Find N6 for review.
We should note that, although this unit was sent to us for testing, this model is not sold officially in Portugal and is only available through retailers that have imported it from other countries.
