The Dreame T12 Pro is one of the company’s new wet&dry vacuum models that recently arrived on the national market but has already won over many consumers.
The new Dreame T12 Pro, despite being one of the entry-level models in the T Series, offers much more than we expect to get in a thin and light body that makes daily house cleaning immensely easier.
A thin, light, versatile body capable of reaching (almost) everywhere
The Dreame T12 Pro is an upright vacuum cleaner capable of vacuuming and washing solids and liquids at the same time, something we had previously seen is not a problem for Dreame with the H15 Pro model.
However, the T12 Pro arrives with a thinner, lighter body (4.8kg) and greater ease to help with cleaning, including an 80º brush rotation in a very natural and easy way.

With 25,000 Pa of suction power, it is easy to vacuum anything on the floor or even on rugs and carpets. Furthermore, with the possibility of vacuuming while completely horizontal, the thin body allows it to reach areas 9.85 cm high, or 9.55 cm high if we only count the device’s brush.
Whether it is pet hair, human hair, crumbs, ketchup, pet urine, or liquids that end up on the floor, the Dreame T12 Pro gets the job done in one pass, vacuuming everything and, at the same time, running the rotating mop with clean water and detergent without the need to change the head or equipment.

In addition, the new T-line system present in the Dreame T12 Pro allows it to reach all corners and baseboards without any problems, with a 0mm edge on 3 sides. This ensures a more complete floor cleaning without us having to worry about the small corners of the walls.
With the TangleCut 2.0 system, the equipment features two scraping systems that ensure no hair gets tangled or caught anywhere.
At the end of the cleaning, the Dreame T12 Pro’s base guarantees the vacuum’s self-cleaning with a 95ºC water washing system, and then proceeds to dry the roller with 95ºC hot air in two different modes: 5 minutes or 30 minutes, depending on the rush and necessity.
The device has a 1L clean water tank directly above the brush, and a tank that separates vacuumed solids from liquids with a capacity of 500ml when used vertically and 300ml horizontally.

In terms of battery life, the Dreame T12 Pro features a 6 x 4000 mAh battery which, according to the brand, allows the device to be used for up to 60 minutes depending on the selected cleaning mode (Eco, Standard, Suction, or Boost), taking up to 4 hours to charge from 0% to 100%.
The Dreame T12 Pro can be purchased on the official Dreame website, or through authorized retailers, for an MSRP of €319.
A completely clean floor with the Dreame T12 Pro
Despite being a much simpler model than many others from the brand, partly because it is a device that does not offer connectivity with the Dreame app, the T12 Pro does not leave cleaning in the background.
With the Dreame T12 Pro, keeping the house floor clean has become much easier than with traditional methods.

The lighter weight and ability to reach tighter spaces offer, right from the start, time savings during cleaning and relief for your hand and back.
The brush features an 80º rotating axis that moves very easily around table legs and any existing obstacles, thus allowing you to navigate everything at home with great ease so that cleaning is done continuously and without problems.
With a simple but intuitive panel next to the vacuum’s handle, we can choose between 4 cleaning modes: Eco, Standard, Boost, and Suction. Depending on the chosen mode, we get a different type of cleaning. To switch between these modes, simply press the button located next to the display alongside the ON/OFF button.

Personally, the Standard mode is the most used, since it vacuums and washes simultaneously, whether dealing with solids or liquids, and in the end, the floor always looks better than when we just use the vacuum in suction mode (where no water is used, it only vacuums).
The Boost mode, on the other hand, is good for more ingrained dirt or for going over rugs/carpets that may have recently gotten dirty with some liquid. This mode pushes the vacuum to the maximum both in terms of suction and the use of water with detergent, which offers a deep clean.
Even with this possibility, the vacuum’s cleaning focus is not carpets or rugs. Although it does the job and helps with liquids, it ultimately does not have a brush designed to penetrate the fabric and bring dirt to the surface.

The dirty water and debris tank is fitted on the back and has been enough for a complete cleaning of the house. At the end, you just have to detach it, pour out the dirty water, remove the solids from the mesh, rinse everything with water, and reassemble. Simple and fast, with a good separation of solids and liquids.
Self-cleaning and drying
The Dreame T12 Pro comes with a charging base that also serves as a cleaning and drying base for the vacuum’s roller.

When placing the Dreame T12 Pro on the base, it automatically starts charging. But since it is not a connectable device, the cleaning and drying process needs to be triggered manually. To do so, simply press the designated button on the vacuum’s handle once, and we hear the sound indication that it will start cleaning with hot water and drying.
If we want quick drying, 5 minutes, it is necessary to press the button a second time so that it initiates this faster drying mode.

The normal 30-minute drying ensures the roller is completely dry and prevents any odors or bacteria formation that can arise in wet material, while the quick mode is for when we just need to wash the roller to use it again right away, thus ensuring that the next use does not have any dirty water from the previous cleaning.

This washing and drying process is noisier than the running equipment, but it won’t cause any major annoyance since the washing, the noisiest part, takes about 5 minutes.
Battery life
The Dreame T12 Pro’s battery life will be highly influenced by the selected mode, as we mentioned.
In standard mode, the one we use regularly, the vacuum can clean the whole house (about 50 m2) and still have more than 50% battery remaining. However, if we switch to Boost mode, that reality is very different, as the power disappears much faster and, although we can still clean the whole house, we end up with the battery nearly depleted at the end.
The Eco mode is undoubtedly the one that guarantees the most usage time, but it may not be suitable for all types of dirt nor deliver the same level of cleaning as the other modes.
Even so, on a daily basis and just to do a quick pass over the house floor, the Eco mode is ideal, vacuuming and washing without demanding too much from the vacuum or leaving the floor wet.

The charging time can take up to 4 hours, but it was never something that bothered us since we never needed more than 60 minutes of continuous use, nor did we ever completely exhaust the Dreame T12 Pro’s battery without the cleaning being finished.
A simple vacuum, but extremely useful for house cleaning
The Dreame T12 Pro is a true home cleaning companion that will make it much easier for us to keep the floor clean and shiny.
With the ability to vacuum solids and liquids, it is usually the first piece of equipment that comes to mind when something falls on the floor and spills everywhere, and during testing, we had several events that seemed tailor-made to test the device’s limits.

From beer bottles falling on the floor, dogs urinating in the bathroom, a washing machine flooding the kitchen with water everywhere, to the simple fact that there are 3 dogs shedding hair in the house, the Dreame T12 Pro was always up to the challenge.
Sometimes it may be necessary to wash and go over it a second time, but that will always depend on the amount we are vacuuming and how greasy the dirt is, since, no matter how much clean water is constantly running through the roller, water alone cannot remove all the grease.

It is on the charging base where we have this hot water and drying feature, with the equipment’s self-cleaning and drying happening with a simple press of a button.
The process is fast for the result it delivers, and in the end, the roller comes out looking brand new and completely dry (in the 30-minute drying mode). The waste tank can hold half of the 1L clean water tank and has a separation of solids and liquids that works quite well.
Cleaning this part is quick and simple; you just need to remove the tank, pull the lever to take out the mesh where the solids are trapped, and then wash each of the parts with water.

The 4 cleaning modes are quite effective in each of the functions they were designed for, and the small panel on the Dreame T12 Pro’s handle is easy to understand. However, it would be nice to be able to connect the equipment to the network and the company’s app to have a little more control and insight into everything.
One of the things we would like to be able to monitor is the wear and tear of the filters and the roller itself, something that in this model we have to do somewhat by eye and check when it is time to replace them. The same goes for the amount of water we want to be used; this function is completely up to the brand’s discretion in each of the modes, whereas in the app with connectable models, it was possible to select whether we wanted the roller more or less damp, as well as the suction power.

Even without these small details, the Dreame T12 Pro delivers excellent suction power combined with good floor-washing capabilities. The brush, with its ability to cover all corners with a 0 mm clearance, is ideal for running behind the sofa, for example, without having to worry about the dirt that might be left near the wall’s baseboard.
The ease of control and the 4.8 kg weight are quite pleasant in hand, since it ultimately doesn’t feel too heavy after some time of use, also gaining the convenience of being able to clean under various pieces of furniture due to the thin body and the ability to operate completely horizontally.

For the asking price, the Dreame T12 Pro is an excellent option to have at home and ensure that the floor is always in the best possible condition, with the least possible effort.
The Dreame T12 Pro can be purchased on the official Dreame website, or through authorized retailers, for an MSRP of €319.
